Shreya claims that she is bored to death playing the lovely lady romancing the male lead. As if to fulfill her wishes, she recently finished filming for the Deepa Mehta directed ‘What is Cooking’ where she plays the female lead sans a love interest. “Debutant Rakhi plays opposite me, however there are no romantic scenes or songs between us,” Shreya was quoted as saying to a tabloid. Shreya further added that she has been complaining her friends about the boredom of having to play love scenes and duets in movies.Her Hollywood venture ‘The other side of life’ produced by Ashok Amirthraj where she plays a call center agent who falls in love with the client is also wrapped up recently. Shreya is cast alongside the Hollywood sitcom heartthrob Jesse Metcalfe of Desperate Housewives fame in this movie. Apart from that, the movie also has Anupham Kher and Tara Sharma in support roles.
