Chaos at Kuselan shoot

In the backwaters of Alapuzha, Kerala, you can spot none other than Rajinikanth shooting for a song with Nayanthara. The movie is, of course, Kuselan. Along with the stars was also Mamta Mohandass. Security, though, has been tight around the shoot, with more than hundred security guards keeping the public at a safe distance. Close to 20,000 bystanders and tourists were on the scene to watch the shoot.

Confusion ensued when some media persons sneaked in close to the houseboat with cameras. Cameraman Aravind Krishna was the first to be hurt when he sprained his ankle. The song in questions is melodious (by G.V. Prakash) and has been choreographed by Raghava Lawrence.

As always, after a film’s completion, Rajini takes off to the Himalayas for some silence and contemplation. Sources say that he plans to do this soon, but has not made fixed plans yet.

Vishal puts Udhayanidhi’s project on hold!

Looks like Vishal’s announced project with Udhayanidhi might just take some time to commence. Our sources heard it from the horse’s mouth. Vishal confessed that he would work on a superhero Tamil movie signaling that the Udhayanidhi project has been postponed until further announcement. Although Vishal did not reveal other details about the movie, apart from the fact that he would be directing it, he stated that the venture would appeal to kids and family audiences alike.

If you might remember, Mysskin earlier had plans for a superhero movie for which he even zeroed in on Vishal and later finalised Surya. However, Mysskin eventually became busy with his Nandalala postponing this project until Nandalala's completion.

Yuvan- Selva patched up?

In Kollywood, the combination of music director Yuvan Shankar Raja and director Selva Raghavan had resulted in many good films and their sync in terms of thought and expression had rendered a different dimension in Tamil films. This was evident in the tracks and the background scores scored by Yuvan in all of Selva’s films. However due to reasons unknown this pair had split

up and in the upcoming Aayirathil Oruvan, Yuvan’s place is taken by G V Prakash Kumar.

The good news now is that duo has managed to iron out their differences and would work together once again in Selva’s forthcoming ventures. The latest whispers in Kodambakkm circles reveal that Selva and Yuvan had met each other and reportedly had a one to one chat which resulted in their rejuvenated camaraderie. For the films to be produced for UTV films by Selva, Yuvan will be scoring music.
