If you thought the fully loaded weapon van used in Billa is cool, don’t be surprised when we reveal its secret. The entire van has been created using plain mineral water bottles and PVC pipes, the creative brain behind it being art director Milan. He has been receiving accolades from all quarters, let alone from Ajith and the entire crew for making the indoors of Billa look realistically Malaysia. Billa’s outdoor shoots have been canned in the exotic locales of Malaysia, as is known, however, the trendy and plush looking indoors on par with the Malaysian standards were created by Milan in Chennai.Close on the heels of these impressive credentials, Milan has also managed to bag the contract for art direction for Ajith’s next, Aegan. Directed by Raju Sundaram, the movie is progressing at a supersonic pace.
Milan is an alumnus of the Loyola College Visual Communication Department and was junior to director Vishnu Vardhan during the good old college days. He apprenticed with ace art director Sabu Cyril before taking off on his own.
