Pyramid Saimira bought the film rights of Kuselan (Kuseladu in Telugu)for 64 crore rupees and it is going to distribute the film in Tamil and Telugu.Kuselan is a remake of a Malayalam movie Katha Parayumbol. K. Balachander’s Kavithalaya and Seven Arts found it interesting and decided to remake it in Tamil and Telugu with the title Kuselan and Kuseladu respectively.
In this movie directed by P. Vasu, the highlight is Rajinikanth who appears as himself. Pasupathi, Meena, Vadivelu, Nayantara are also in the cast. The film’s shooting is going on in Hyderabad’s Ramoji Rao Film Studio.
