Tamil Stars speak out against linguist discrimination

All the Tamil stars –big and small - gathered this morning for a day long of fast to protest the attacks on Tamil movie theatres in Karnataka over the Hogenakkal political issue. Rajinikanth, Vijayakanth, Sarath Kumar, Ajith, Vijay, Vikram, Trisha, Nayanthara, Priyamani, Sneha, Kushboo and several other Kollywood actors were present to voice their concern over the deep prejudice against Tamils and Tamilians in some chauvinistic groups in Karnataka. Mansoor Ali singled out the Superstar saying how much good Rajini had done for everyone. And since the Superstar is originally from Karnataka, he would be the best person to intervene. Vikram said he felt tempted to say something cutting and nasty but will hold back out of respect. Goudamani pointed out that Tamil were being singled out constantly in Karnataka for one thing or another and that this had to end. “Enough is enough,” he concluded. With many significant stars still to speak – Rajini, Vijay, Vijayakanth, Ajith - the fast continues successesfully into the day. We will be brining you updates on what the other stars present had to say, so stay tuned.
