The MAA (TV) Cine Awards 2008 function was held at Gachibouli indoor stadium, Hyderabad, amidst an impressive gathering of limited film personalities, but a big crowd of general audiences. The colorful event started around 7.30 pm, and lasted at 1.00 am. Incidentally, it was getting drenched outside, which came as a plus point to the organizers. 7 Up and the TV channel jointly threw the Awards fete. Actors Chiranjeevi, Nagarjuna, NTR and Allu Arjun, Brahmanandam, Ali, Trisha, Bhumika (flanked by hubby), Charmme, Nikitha, Sradda Aarya, and Sindhu Menon brought some the glamour factor, slightly enhanced by behind the screen biggies VV Vinayak, Sekhar Kammula and K.
